Pharrell Williams is hard at work on promoting his new album “G I R L” and he seems to be taking his own hints because his latest video for the song “Marilyn Monroe” is packed full of models dancing and moving enticingly while the singer talks about that girl that caught his eye.

Somewhat reminiscent of Robin Thicke's “Blurred Lines” video in which Pharrell took part, “Marilyn Monroe” starts out with a dream sequence in this he tries to reach out to a girl that reminds him of the classic screen beauty with her style.

As he wakes up from the video, Pharrell immediately heads out to the dance studio where a number of attractive female dancers stretch and warm their muscles, the perfect time for the singer to chat them up.

Midway through the clip, you're going to see a cameo appearance by Kelly Osborne, who, with her pink locks, does an impromptu British-accent rap that goes well with the overall message of the song.

The Grammy-nominated singer confessed that this track is actually a homage to powerful women throughout our history, and it's his way of praising the importance of women in today's society.

The artist is quoted as saying “The last I heard, the only way that this entire species can come into existence is through the portal of a woman's body.”
