A pharmacist in North Dakota has taken some measures to put children's fears to bed by creating the Monster Spray, an alleged medication prescribed to kids who have trouble sleeping at night because of eerie creatures that may be hiding under their bed.

All she has actually done was put some creative labeling on a bottle of colored water and tell the kids that the spray would help them get rid of monsters.

Josslyn Dodd, the manager of Barrett Pharmacy, says they have done this for the past five years or so and it worked for many children. It proved to be one of the most effective treatments ever prescribed for warding off possible monsters.

“It's 100 percent safe and it works amazingly. It really seems to get rid of the monsters,” the pharmacist told ABC News.

The instructions written on the bottle are simple enough: “Spray around the room at night before bed. Repeat if necessary.”

For some toddlers, the miracle colored water might be an effective solution to get rid of the imaginary creatures hiding under their bed, but it actually depends on the child. For others, it just reinforces the idea that monsters exist and intensifies their fear.
