It “sets a level of its own and it's really a monster,” according to the company

It's one thing to say that a PC case is monstrously capable, and another to actually prove it. Phanteks no doubt does its best to support its claim in regard to the Enthoo Primo enclosure, but we'll let people decide for themselves if they really believe it.

Enthoo Primo is described as “a case that sets a level of its own and it's really a monster” in the new press release.

Made with aluminum front and top panels and controllable LED lighting, it should give personality to any PC housed inside.

Speaking of the inside, the chassis is made with a “stealth interior” that covers the PSU, HDD, cables and grommets (modular cable cover).

Radiator Brackets exist as well, along with a rear reservoir mounting location and a universal pump bracket with vibration dampening function.

You got it, the chassis is designed with water cooling in mind. Makes sense, considering that Phanteks is, first and foremost, a cooling hardware specialist.

Spec-wise, the full tower case has a steel skeleton with, as we have mentioned above, aluminum faceplates. It measures 250 mm x 650 mm x 600 mm / 9.84 x 25.59 x 23.62 inches.

There are eight expansion slots, two power supply slots, five external 5.25-inch drive bays, and six internal 3.5-inch bays (two HDD cages of 3 drives each).

It's also possible to convert the HDD cages into 2.5-inch trays. Add to that the two doublestack SSD brackets expandable to three drives, and you have 12 SSD compartments in total.

Furthermore, the new case features a front I/O panel with two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports and two audio jacks (microphone/headphone).

Finally, the Phanteks Enthoo Primo boasts a LED switch and a side window. All in all, not bad for a chassis that can accommodate ATX, EATX, mATX, and SSI EEB motherboards.

Phanteks is already selling the newcomer for £199.99 / $199.99 / €199.99.
