Universe at War: Earth Assault is the latest installment in the RTS series from renowned developers Petroglpyh Games. The game sports customization options on a scale that needs new references, while the near-future-Earth storyline will grab you right from the first minutes of play. The plot, in short, says that powerful forces from across the universe have brought war to Earth. As such, gamers take command of several factions with awesome powers and spectacular units. For example, you'll be able to control massive-scale alien war machines (fully customizable), while the game's on-the-fly customization system, Tactical Dynamics, will allow you to dynamically swap out weaponry, rework your tech tree and even retrain your units in the middle of combat.

Petroglpyh and SEGA (publisher) have also confirmed large-scale environmental destruction, while Universe at War introduces new multiplayer features and online game modes, which even award players with achievements, rewards, and medals.
