It features a woman lying on a pool table in a mini dress

The Equinox gym is under fire again, this time for displaying a giant, allegedly racy billboard in downtown Bethesda in Maryland.

As you can see above, the sign, relayed by Robert Dyer on his blog, features a woman playing pool while sitting on the table.

She is wearing a barely-there skin-colored dress and high-heels and I can understand how some would say that it objectifies women.

It features the tagline “dexterity,” and I guess that it is supposed to be inspirational. I don't see how this hits their target audience, which is women. A petition is in place on Change.org, and petitioners aim to have the ad taken down.

“Our children shouldn't be subjected to this. Our female friends and family shouldn't be viewed like this, nor forced to conform to it,” it reads.
