Petey Cried 'Wolf' Way Too Many Times

Just like in that story of the little boy who, standing at the margin of a wood, thought to play a joke on the villagers and started to cry 'Wolf!' until no one believed him anymore and he was killed by one, so people will no longer believe Pete Doherty when he says he's off of drugs.

Trouble for the Babyshambles front man began a long time ago and his addictions got to be so many that his personal life is probably more documented than his talent as a musician and writer will ever be. Despite his many stints in rehab, some lengthier than others, Pete is back off the wagon. But this has been said so many times, that it almost doesn't even count as 'news' per se. We'll report it either way.

On Sunday, the rocker was arrested again on suspicion of possession and while intoxicated, after his Jaguar was spotted going erratically down a street in London. The police arrived, arrested Doherty and two other unidentified men who were in the car with him and retrieved something that looked like the rocker's favorite pastime: crack cocaine.

The three suspects were taken downtown and later on released on bail. A spokesperson for the singer said that he cannot make any comment on the arrest, given that the police investigation is underway to determine the exact nature of the 'substances recovered'. However, Pete and the other two have to report back to the police in December to see whether charges will be filed against them or not.

Meanwhile, Pete will keep busy by going to the many court hearings he has scheduled in other drug charges that were filed against him this year.
