The game should have focused more on emotional attachment

Peter Molyneux, who is now the leader of 22 Cans, says that he expects the new title in the Fable universe to have more of a focus on emotion than previous installments and wonders why the dog character was cut.

He tells IGN that “I’d triple down on emotion, actually. I would keep the dog. I would make the dog love you even more, be less aggravating, more insightful. Because any damage that’s done to the dog hurts twice as much as any damage done to you.”

Molyneux says that Fable II was driven by emotion and that Legends should try to learn from it.

At the moment, the developer is working on Godus, which is expected to arrive before the end of the year.

Fable Legends is exclusive to the Xbox One and will offer a persistent world experience.
