Peter Molyneux and Jack Attridge, developers at 22Cans, talk about the gameplay mechanics from older Bullfrog titles that they are interesting in using in their upcoming Project Godus in a new video which aims to bolster the Kickstarter effort for the game.

The video shows Peter Molyneux taking a critical stance on Populous, Dungeon Keeper and Black & White, the games where he was in charge of gameplay development, and explains which of them will be a good fit for the new title.

Their pair also talks about design decisions for Project Godus and about the limitations that technology imposes on game developers.

Project Godus is designed to use the core mechanics of Populous while updating them in order to appeal to modern players.

The game has managed to raise more than one third of the sum it is looking for on Kickstarter.
