Peter Andre Taking Legal Action Against Price for Infidelity Allegations

The legal battle between Katie Price, formerly known as Jordan, and her estranged husband Peter Andre has just reached new lows, reports in the British media are saying. While Andre continues to keep mum on most topics related to the nasty divorce and custody battle, Price is more than willing to talk to anyone that asks her, which is why he is now taking her to court, he hints in his personal column in New! magazine.

Price recently said in an interview that, for all she knew, Peter Andre might have been unfaithful to her, wherefrom the divorce proceedings. Although the star did not mention names or specifics, it was relatively clear from her words that she believed Andre had had other women while married to her. This is clearly an allegation that the former pop sensation will not have floating around in the media, since it’s defamatory and bad for his reputation. Legal action might even be a possibility, Andre hints.

“I can hold my head up high and say I’ve been 100% faithful throughout my marriage and still am. And any reports suggesting otherwise are totally hurtful and false.” Andre writes in his newspaper column. Again, while he does not say anything specific, reports in the British media have it that he’s already seen an attorney for his options in terms of a legal fight on this. Should that occur, Andre might also ask for a retraction and perhaps money from Katie Price.

As noted above, Andre’s response was prompted by a statement Price made while promoting her latest ghost-written book “Sapphire.” Sitting down with GMTV, the glamor model turned businesswoman and esteemed “author” somehow blamed Peter Andre for the split, saying the rumors she heard during their marriage eventually made her question his fidelity. Surely, as fans must remember, it was actually the other way around, at least in the media.

“Anyway, next question.” Price said when the host asked her whether the marriage crumbled because of Andre’s infidelity. “Was Pete not faithful?” the host insisted and the model eventually responded. “I don’t know. Was he? I never said anything. Well, you know when you split up with someone you hear things, so who knows what’s true, what’s not? But as far as I know I think he was faithful.” Price added.
