Peter Andre Goes Celibate, Will Publish Book on Ex-Wife

Ever since glamour model Katie Price, once known solely as Jordan, and husband Peter Andre decided to call off their marriage by getting a divorce, the British media has been divided as to whose side to take. Eventually, Andre’s manifest devotion for the kids and Katie’s off behavior tilted the balance in his favor – and he only stands to gain more with his recent statement, as The Sun informs.

According to the British tab, the pop singer who is now preparing for a relaunch of his career, has vouched to stay celibate until the divorce is final out of respect for soon to be ex-wife Katie. It’s not that he’s lacking female admirers that he made this decision, The Sun points out, but rather that he feels it’s best if he minded his former partner’s feelings by not stepping out in public in the company of another woman while he’s still legally bound to her.

“I’m going to steer clear of women for at least 2½ months. It’s not to do with lawyers, I just want to do the honorable thing by Kate. I don’t think it would be right to have a relationship until everything is sorted and we move on.” Peter Andre reportedly told the British tab following reports that things were heating up between him and another glamour model, Chantelle Houghton. Moreover, it seems that the star is bent on using the energy thus saved by not dating on working out, as he has just re-equipped his Brighton pad with new fitness gear, the same publication reports.

Another thing that Peter Andre is putting off until he is legally separated from Katie Price is a book on life as her husband, an unnamed insider reveals for The Sun. “The father of two is in negotiations for a book detailing his split from Jordan, 31, aka Katie Price. It will double as a guide for young couples with problems. A source said: ‘Pete has compiled endless notes. He will detail all Jordan’s extravagances – including the plastic surgery’.” The Sun explains.

As of now, Katie Price has not commented on Andre’s recent remarks but, given her response to speculation that he was thinking of moving to the US and taking the children with him (after getting sole custody), whatever she says next in reference to this will not be pleasant.
