Pete Doherty's friend and former manager revealed that ever since the photos with supermodel Kate Moss snorting cocaine were published in the Daily Mirror newspaper, he has been terrorized with abusive messages and phone calls from friends and fans, accused of being Moss's traitor.
James Mullord, who managed Babyshambles until last month, declared that he's not the one to blame for the cocaine scandal, claiming that he even wasn't present at the recording session where Moss allegedly took drugs in the presence of Babyshambles members and their producer, rocker Mick Jones.
Miranda Davis, one of Jones' closest friends, sent Mullord a message which reads: "You should be ashamed of yourself you even double crossed Mick! And Pete!"
But James denied all the allegations, stating: "I considered Pete the closest person on the planet other than my mother. I helped him get out of prison. I helped him get over drugs.
I would never have done this to Pete or Kate. I have done nothing but look after that guy for two years."
Mullord was suspected of being Kate Moss's traitor because he left London for Paris and then Scotland just days after the pictures were published.
Of the day Moss was captured on film, he says: "I went into the studio to have a look. I said hello to Kate and the crew and then went home unaware some huge thing would kick off later."
Speaking about Kate, he confesses: "I think she has been unfairly treated. She has been painted as a woman with a drug problem. Kate is not the kind of person who will have drugs on her but she will occasionally take drugs."
