Pete Doherty is set to win his sweetheart back. She reportedly dumped him because he left rehab after only one week.

Kate had paid for the treatment and was hoping they could spend Christmas together, but Pete couldn't make it through the therapy program.

"She's furious with me for leaving rehab - and that's understandable. But I will go back in. I've promised her," Pete said for the "Sunday Mirror".

"I don't know how Kate managed to get off the cocaine because I thought the clinic was a load of rubbish.
When I went there it felt like a prison. It was a waste of time in the middle of the desert.
But if it means being with Kate, I will go back there. I swear we will get back together," the Babyshambles frontman added.

The rocker said he speaks with Kate on the phone everyday, even though the supermodel is currently in South Africa.

"It is my destiny to be with her but she doesn't want me to be with her - unless I get off the drugs," said Pete.

Sharon Osbourne, a lady that is not afraid of speaking her mind, had recently slammed Doherty, by saying that "he needs a bloody good slap. He needs locking down in rehab for a couple of months - and the truth needs to be said to his face.
It's not hip to be in the state he's in. It's not remotely cool - it's pathetic. It's obvious he is incredibly insecure. He's not confident because he wouldn't do it if he was."
