Rocker Pete Doherty of the Babyshambles seems to be having a very hard time keeping out of trouble. During a recent court hearing, where he was summoned to face charges of driving under the influence and without a license, as well as one count of possession, Doherty was arrested again on suspicion of taking drugs into the courtroom, The Sun informs.

The star was frisked at one point, and a suspicious bag fell out of his pocket, containing what looked like blue crystals. He was immediately apprehended by police officers and taken across the street for questioning and, presumably, to be charged. All this time, as this was going on, Doherty appeared to be very perplexed, as if out of it, onlookers say for the aforementioned publication.

“He was being frisked by a security officer and when he emptied his pockets a clingfilm wrap fell out. The security man picked it up and saw it contained what looked like little blue crystals. The security man phoned the police and about six officers came over and waited to arrest Doherty when his case was over,” an eyewitness reveals for The Sun.

“The 30-year-old Babyshambles star was marched straight across the road by a uniformed officer from Gloucester Crown Court and into custody at the city’s police station opposite. Doherty had been fined £2,050 with £160 costs and was walking out of Court One when a detective constable approached and arrested him today. A suspected packet of drugs had fallen from Doherty’s pocket as he arrived at the court and checked in at the security desk,” The Sun goes on to explain.

The charges Doherty faced in court stemmed from an arrest earlier this year, when he was arrested for driving under the influence and without a license, and possession of heroin. At the time of the arrest, the rocker also seemed out of it, with police officers saying he was barely able to stand on his feet.
