It's been about a week since Kate Moss started going out with a new guy (and by going out we mean partying for 30 hours straight and teaching the guy the skill and arts of binging and boozing) and we're already wondering what's going on with on again / off again dreamboy Doherty. Is he OK? Has the poor guy crawled somewhere in a dark hole and is crying his eyes out, begging for Moss to take him back? No, actually the latest rumors about this poor critter are even scarier, as it came out he might have been having an affair with Amy Winehouse.

And when I say "affair", I just mean plain old sex. Seeing how Wino herself is just as into sex as Doherty, they were simply a disaster waiting to happen. What is more, it looks like Doherty was in the room when Winehouse overdosed a few weeks ago and was rushed to hospital - only he very wisely decided to leave right before any media arrived. The big question is - was Amy's drugged-out hubby in on the little secret? Or was he just too stoned to realise his lady was hooked up with another guy.

"She [Amy] collapsed when they went back to her flat" a close source reports, referring to the fateful morning when Amy almost died. "Pete left because he didn't want any bad publicity. He didn't know how to deal with it and thought she was dying. She was foaming at the mouth and fitting - Pete had never seen anything like it". And while it sounds downright gross, I must say it does have "Doherty" written all over it.

Plus, we have to remember Doherty's past sex exploits - which he had while he was still hooked up with Kate Moss. Pete, as we very well know, just could not keep the lust in (so to say) and he got his way with some South African model called (if memory serves) Lindi Hingston, who later confessed to some of her friends that she and Pete "had great sex". And at the same time, another love interest for the Babyshambles walking disaster was Lara Laghi, with whom he did sleep, but who admitted he was so out of it he doesn't even remember what they did. Man, what do women see in this guy, I ask you? But back to the point.

Doherty is an addict. And it's not just drugs, it's also sex and cheating and being a complete jerk. And getting his cat stoned. So, somebody send Kate Moss a thank you note for dumping him - and better hope she stays off him for good. As for the Amy Winehouse rumors - I pray to God they're not true. I still have a relatively good opinion about her - plus, the image of those two in bed makes for one scary nightmare.
