Pete Burns unveils new addition to surgically-altered face: piercings

Peter “Pete” Burns of Dead Or Alive is known for the extensive surgical interventions he underwent throughout the years and, even though he was saying a while back he’d come to regret some of them, he’s not yet ready to stop.

The other day, the former rocker, who also happens to have a new single out now, hit up London Fashion Week and, in doing so, also showed off the latest addition to his face: piercings.

However, as the Daily Mail can confirm, we’re not talking here piercings in the eyebrow or the nose, but literally almost all over the face.

In other words, Burns, sitting in the front row next to his life partner, had piercings all along his eyebrows, in his cheeks, nose, forehead and chin. His rep has confirmed they’re new.

“A year after winning a lawsuit against his former plastic surgeon, Pete Burns has stepped out at London Fashion Week sporting new additions to his cosmetically-altered face,” says the Mail.

“Attending the Pam Hogg and Vivienne Westwood shows with partner Michael Simpson, Burns debuted piercings along his eyebrows, on his forehead and his cheekbones,” the tab further notes.

“The couple sat front row at the Pam Hogg alongside the likes of Roisin Murphy, Janice Dickinson and Amber Rose, but all were eyes Burns’ new facial embellishments, which his spokesperson confirmed he had done last week,” the Mail also says.

According to the Mail and several other British publications, both Burns’ recent appearances and the addition of the facial piercings can be explained by the release of his new song.

“The 51-year-old, who had a costume change to watch Vivienne Westwood’s show the same evening, has stepped up his public appearances after releasing a new single last week, Never Marry An Icon,” the Mail notes.

The single is also embedded at the end of the article but, safe to say, fans believe it’s rather a waste of time since it doesn’t even come close to the material he used to put out back in his Dead Or Alive days.
