Purrfect Pet Shop, a casual game developed by eGames, was exclusively launched on the BigFishGames portal, so millions of casual and pet loving gamers can enjoy the thrill of animal care. The game can be purchased for $19.99 or, if you would like to play it online, you should wait a little longer, since an online version of the game is under development and scheduled to be released in February.

Purrfect Pet Shop will put you in charge of an animal adoption center where all types of characters come in searching for a pet - each of them desires particular traits, so you won't have an easy job. Especially because, at the same time, you will have to nurse a customizable dog or cat, choosing from tons of possible pet combinations and earning its trust while playing with it, going to road trips and many more. While this sounds really interesting and many people will agree, I truly hope that pets won't be the next creatures from the real world to become a "virtual-reality exclusive".

"We are confident Purrfect Pet Shop will thrill fans of the time management genre with its unprecedented gameplay, nursing abandoned pets back to health, and then matching them with their perfect owners," said eGames Product Manager Greg Zesinger.

The game is an obvious child-friendly one, having unique features which will be fully enjoyable by the kids: a special "Kiddies mode" designed especially for young gamers, which allows them to share their progress with the adults. Also, in Purrfect Pet Shop it is possible to take pictures of your pets whenever you want to and even send them to your friends via email.

The casual games market is a fully expanding one and it manages to bring together not only people of all ages, but also new users who are not fond by the "harder" or more more complex games, designed for the hardcore gamers. And Purrfect Pet Shop is definitely one title that has the potential to attract even more people. Because everybody loves cute little dogs or cats.
