Initially launched as a browser extension, Personas has become an integrated part of one of the most popular browsers nowadays, Firefox. Recently, the Mozilla team announced that the mobile version of the browser also supports Personas.

To be more precise, Personas are highly intuitive themes that can be used even by beginners to change the appearance of Firefox.

Some of these designs are abstract and can simply modify the overall color and icon of the browser, but there are also some of them that are related to popular movies, celebrities or sports.

In other words, everyone is bound to find at least one that will impress them, thus personalizing the look of their Firefox or matching it to the theme installed on their OS.

While those who are familiar with Firefox and use it on an everyday basis, have become quite fond of these colorful skins, mobile users could not enjoy the same functionality until now.

In order to be able to dress up their mobile browser, a dedicated add-on needs to be installed from the Add-ons Manager (also available on Softpedia).

Once the Personas button appears on the Start page, one only needs to tap the button and navigate to the Personas website to select the design that suits their tastes the best.

To apply the chosen skin, users will need to tap the orange button then enjoy their newly personalized title bar, Awesome Screen and tools panels.

Furthermore, the Find in Page and Form Assistant toolbars will also be modified according to the theme that was picked up.

Users who want to check out several Personas before settling for the one they like best can review the previously accessed themes in the Add-ones Manager pane.

And the best thing of all, mobile users will not be restricted to applying only static Personas, they can also try on and select animated ones.
