14 DAY TRIAL // B&G Foods North America, which owns the Maple Grove Farms brand, is warning customers that their personal and financial information might have been compromised as a result of a cyberattack on the Maple Grove Farms of Vermont website.
According to the letter sent to customers, the attackers might have gained access to names, addresses, phone numbers, and payment card numbers.
The attack took place on November 16, 2013, and it was detected later that day. The website was taken offline following the breach.
Additional technical security measures have been implemented to prevent future attacks.
Impacted customers have been provided information on steps they can take to protect themselves against potential malicious operations, such as identity theft and fraud.
