PWE is a strong PC free-to-play market player with a solid game portfolio

Perfect World Entertainment revealed their plans for next-gen console versions of both existing and future titles, following their expansion into the console market.

The company announced that they added a console division targeting both current- and next-gen consoles. The developer intends to bring their best free-to-play online games to consoles, reaching a whole new audience.

“Perfect World Entertainment has long been the leader in free-to-play PC titles. Bringing our titles to consoles is a natural progression for us, and we can't wait to set a new standard for console MMORPGs and other genres,” Perfect World Entertainment CEO Alan Chen stated in the official press release.

They are looking forward to exploring the new medium in order to better connect with gamers, welcoming the opportunity to work on new types of projects with developers from all over the world.

“We are confident in our outlook entering into this new business, and you can expect Perfect World to be a major player in the console marketplace,” commented General Manager of Publishing, Andrew Brown, regarding Perfect World's move into the console realm.
