The Stibbert is the latest contraption from luxury Italian manufacturer Goldenote and it stands out as one of the best-isolated CD players you can buy. The company's aim was to ensure a dramatically-natural and accurate playback of your CDs by building one of the best anti-vibration chassis in the world of CD players. Even more, the project comes with a weight that is three times greater than that of its predecessor. Such an increased heaviness apparently betters the bass performance, according to the manufacturer.

This CD player boasts a rather unusual chassis, consisting of two heavy plates: a 20mm acrylic one at the bottom, and a high-density steel alloy one at the top. The metal plate has also been treated with diamagnetic black polyvinyl paint, which matches the lustrous overall looks of this exclusive CD player.

The inner mechanics of the product sport a 0.0001% motor speed fluctuation, which is terribly close to perfection. This almost perfectly constant motor speed and extreme vibration isolation technologies are responsible for the pristine, jitter-free sonic response of the Goldenote Stibbert Tube CD Player.

The whole mechanism is suspended from the upper plate using special springs that absorb any vibrations and keep the player still, increasing the quality of the sound it delivers. On the audio side, the Goldenote Stibbert Tube CD Player boasts a dual vacuum tube output stage using twin 6922 tubes that add warmth and consistence to your fav tracks.

The contraption also shows off a proprietary Electro-Power system, which keeps track of all the voltages in both analog and digital components, and makes the necessary adjustments as needed, in order to keep everything within the specified range, for the best performance possible. The 100 to 260Volt 50/60Hz super linear triple transformer is one of the best of its kind you'll come across in such a piece of equipment.

You'll get both the classic analog stereo RCA connectors and a 75 Ohms digital RCA output for linking your CD player with other digital gear. The frequency response ranges between 20 Hz and 25 kHz, with a 0.08% max THD, while the overall weight of the product reaches 13 kilos. If you're willing to spend major cash on high-end CD players, then prepare to fork out some $5,030, should you be in the US. Non-US residents must wait some more time for the availability of the gadget.
