Microsoft has announced the release dates and prices for the games that will be making up the Xbox Live Block Party event launching in early March. There is also an award reserved for those who are interested in all the content the software giant has to offer.

On March 3, players can long into Xbox Live in order to get and then play Toy Soldiers, a game that will be sold for 1,200 Microsoft Points, which is the equivalent of 15 dollars. As the name implies, it is a stripped down strategy title starring toy versions of real-life soldiers.

After that, players will be able to get Scrap Metal, the new game from the creators of N+ for the same price before receiving Perfect Dark for Rare on March 17 for the price of 800 Microsoft Points. The game was initially launched for the Nintendo 64 in 2000 and it is considered to be the spiritual successor to GoldenEye 007.

The end of the Xbox Live Block Party will be on March 24 when Microsoft releases the Game Room. The environment itself will be free to all those who are interested in picking it up but to populate it with arcade machines, gamers will need to play between 3 and 5 dollars for each game. The company is also saying that it will offer bundles and themed packages for those who love their retro gaming.

The software giant is also announcing that those who pick the three videogames outed during the period while also getting Game Room will receive a small reward. Those who are currently subscribing to Xbox Live Gold will receive a free extra month of the service and another 400 Microsoft Points to spend as they like, while those who only have a Silver account will be able to log in for a weekend (March 26-29) in order to enjoy free multiplayer for all the titles mentioned above.
