The socialite got so mad?

If you consider yourself to be up to date with the latest gossip from Hollywood and not only, you must have heard of Perez Hilton and / or admire his work. Characterized by some as a blogging bitch-genius, his page is the one to check out for all sorts of embarrassing videos or pictures. And all this via YouTube, the video part, I mean. He uploaded the clips to Google's video sharing service and, then, embedded them on his blog, thus jumping YouTube from the loop on the advertisement revenue made.

All of this had to be put to a stop, aside from the reason described above, he also posted material that was against the site's terms, namely copyright infringement and the two of them combined brought? no, not about half of Captain Planet, as you might have thought, but the suspension of his account. The video that triggered it is one of Liza Minelli collapsing on stage. Would it be Perez if he just let it go? No, it wouldn't, so he created a second account using the same email address (big mistake, I think) and asked the YouTube team what had happened? not in the most polite manner, I'm certain. What other result could have lead to other than a new ban?

Oh, the reaction came strong and it showed Perez's side of the story: he said that YouTube censored him and went on about it. Some of the lines that can be quoted without offending someone are "YouTube has just suspended our secondary YouTube account, http://youtube.com/profile?user=NotlihZerep, after we posted a very critical video about their practices. We just got this email response from YouTube: 'Since it's associated with the same email as a closed account, it got disabled as well'. Bullshit!!!!!!"

Now, the first account he had was, logically, named after him. Look at the username of the second: NotlihZerep, which is the backward spelling of the same name. If they have banned you, don't go creating alternates from the same mail address and name them like that. Be vewy, vewy quiet! They might catch on!
