Percona Server, an enhanced drop-in replacement for MySQL that will allow queries to run faster and more consistently and to consolidate servers on powerful hardware, is now at version 5.5.35-33.0.
As the build number suggests, this latest iteration of Percona Server is based on MySQL 5.5.35 and includes changes and bugs fixes.
Highlights of Percona Server 5.5.35-33.0:
• Thread Pool high priority scheduling is now enabled by default by changing the default thread_pool_high_prio_tickets value from 0 to 4294967295; • Low priority queue throttling has been enabled; • The server has extended mysqlbinlog to provide SSL and compression support; • Various compiler errors, caused by the merge regression in Percona Server 5.5.33-31.1, have been fixed.
