Peppermint Four, a very light distribution based on Ubuntu 13.04 and LXDE, is now available for download.

This latest iteration of Peppermint has been development for quite some time, but it's good to see that this lightweight distro is finally out.

Highlights of Peppermint Four:

• The distribution uses the Xfwm4 window manager for the LXDE environment. This means that users will get access to a lot more options for the window manager; • The keyboard shortcut, for opening the file manager, has changed from “Ctrl+Alt+D” to “Ctrl+Alt+F” by default; • Software ratings are now available in the Software Manger; • The distribution is based on Ubuntu 13.04 (Raring Ringtail).

A complete list of changes and improvements for Peppermint Four is available in the official release notes.

Download Peppermint Four right now from Softpedia.
