14 DAY TRIAL // As ongoing reports would have it, Taylor Lautner, star of “The Twilight Saga,” is now on the path to becoming the highest paid teenage actor of our times. Undeniably, part of his charisma is to be found in his good looks as well, good looks that he more than put in the best light with a stylish grey suit at People’s Choice Awards 2010, as JustJared can confirm.
According to word in the industry, the actor avoided the red carpet this year, presumably because the madness would have been far greater than organizers expected. However, it’s still early to say that for certain, as coverage of the event in the US media has not officially begun yet. Still, the actor was snapped backstage and, by all means, he looked as stylish as a catwalk model, his fans say.
Dressed in a tight grey suit, the young actor kept everything as simple as possible, as he’s known to do whenever he makes an official public appearance. With a simple black tie and a white shirt, hair done in a rather careless manner (the deliberate kind of carelessness though) and with one hand in his pocket, Lautner was the very image of style and manly elegance.
And that’s not the only thing that he can boast of as regards the recent awards ceremony. Aside from getting fashion insiders to sing his praise, the star also took home an award for Breakthrough Artist of the Year for his work in “Twilight.” Together with co-stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, Taylor also won the People’s award for On-Screen Team, again for “Twilight.” Given that the triangle has proved to be one of the most successful onscreen formulas cinema has come up with recently, it’s no wonder the award went to “Twilight,” it is being said.
As noted above, rumor has it that Lautner will soon officially become the highest paid young star of our times. With offers pouring in from all sides – mostly for action movies, for obvious reasons, having proved he can pull them off to perfection with the two “Twilight” films so far – a wide array of choices will be the last thing that will trouble this young and incredibly dapper star.
