Tablet vendors are facing tough competition from 1 Infinite Loop, Cupertino, California

ChangeWave has carried out a study that revealed a not-very-surprising truth about the iPad, and about the Apple brand in general. People love them both and, to prove it, three quarters of them pledged to buy a tablet computer from the Cupertino giant within the next three months.

Well, “pledged” maybe isn’t the appropriate word here, since they can always change their mind. But 73% of planned tablet buyers are reporting they'll purchase an iPad, says ChangeWave.

“And while that’s down a bit from the extraordinary demand levels seen at the time of the March new iPad launch, it’s a clear sign that Apple’s massive domination of the market is continuing going forward,” said the research firm.
