A new game popular with some students and white collar employees in China involves having to break out of a closed room.

The room offers clues and contains some random objects. According to China Daily, they could be a broken chair and some torn concert tickets for a band whose name will help you play the game.

You have to decipher the codes to advance to a next level, while “cryptic music” is playing. If you can't make it, you will be let out when you hear the “call of death.”

The business is thriving and the Omega Room Escape company is investing into making the rooms more challenging.

"The sense of urgency forces you to forget about all the annoyance and trouble at work, and the sense of excitement and joy after you escape from the room brings you more confidence than anything," says Wang Zhuangyi, a bank clerk working out of Beijing.
