Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett have been keeping uncharacteristically mum on the cheating scandal involving Hank and transgender model Ava London, and People magazine knows why: they will be addressing the scandal on their reality show.

The whole thing blew up in the press shortly before their fifth wedding anniversary, initially as an unconfirmed rumor; in a matter of days, London started talking, dishing out all the details of their so-called fling, how much Hank paid her and how he had promised to see her well provided for on the condition that word of their tryst never got out in the media.

It was then, as Kendra and Hank continued to say nothing even though things were really out of control, that another theory began making the rounds: the only reason they weren’t addressing this was that they wanted the big reveal to happen in front of the camera, on their reality show, which would instantly bring them a boost in ratings.

People magazine confirms this to be the case. “Hank and Kendra are fully engaged in the show,” a source close to the couple reveals. “People who want to see the two of them will definitely see the two of them. The cameras have been rolling. Viewers will get to see everything.”

It’s not official confirmation, but as celebrity gossip lovers probably know, if it comes from People, it’s sanctioned by Hank and Kendra’s publicist, make no mistake about it.

Even if it weren’t, here’s more proof that this will happen: Kendra can’t afford to not make money off the scandal. So, even if it was real, she will still document all the drama on the series because this is her livelihood.

“There is no talk, however, of her abandoning Kendra on Top: Wilkinson is in the midst of her third season contract, and the show likely pays her north of $15,000 [€11,120] an episode, one knowledgeable source estimated. Both Wilkinson and Baskett are co-executive producers of the series, which returns this fall,” People underlines.

This is along the same lines of a report from last week, which said that Kendra was “forced to cash in” on the scandal because a) she wanted to stay true to her fans and b) she was too strapped for cash not to.

With People confirming that this is really the case, we should probably expect an official announcement in the following days. If Kendra and Hank fashioned their cheating scandal on Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott’s, as the aforementioned conspiracy theory says they did, they will eventually put the “cheating” behind them and stay together.
