Over four days before its release...

For some time now, the main concern regarding the launch of the iPhone has been that stocks will not last and shops will quickly run out of them. While getting sold-out may be a good sign for analysts, potential customers are rather worried by the possibility. Although there have been promises of being able to order your iPhone even if the store is all out and have it delivered in the shortest time possible, nothing compares to actually getting one when the doors open. This being the case, it is not surprising that people have already started camping out for the launch.

The first queues for Apple?s iPhone have already started to form. Not surprisingly, the first campers have chosen Apple?s flagship retail store, Apple Store Fifth Avenue as the location. This store is known as the site of massive grand opening lines, crowds, and at least one marriage proposal. Photographs so far show two eager future iPhone owners that are spearheading the effort, armed with backpacks and at least one camping chair nestled safely behind metal stanchions in front of the stores' glass cube entrance.

Waiting until Friday is not going to be easy, but those eager enough for an iPhone seem to have no problems with it. Alternatively, these might be two enterprising souls that are planning on selling their spots to the highest bidder, a practice that often occurs at such highly anticipated launches, and is quite profitable. The very first camper is shown in photos with a sign that reads: "Hello NYC!!! I?m here in line already for an iPhone, on sale 6 P.M. Friday, June 29th. Donations for food + metrocards accepted!!! Thank you NYC for your support!!!"

No doubt the line will grow as we near Friday afternoon, and hopefully Apple has plans to show galleries and time lapse movies of the crowds as they did for the landmark store's grand opening.
