If you feel comfortable wearing more than one person's hair, rentals may be an option

Hair extensions are a great way of changing hairdos without drastic cuts, and many have accepted the fact that they are wearing some stranger's belonging. But what would you say if you could wear extensions that have been worn by more than one person, at a cheaper price of course?

A Salon in Beverly Hills believes that it is not such a big deal for more people to wear one set of chip-in hair pieces, as it helps you save some money and it gives you more flexibility when it comes to choosing colors or styles.

In an attempt to make the celebrity styles more affordable, the amazing hairdos – usually made with the help of extensions – can now be acquired for a limited time period and with an acceptable price.

With just $75 (€54), one can rent extensions for one week and it also includes styling/blowout and professional application, as well as a self-addressed stamped envelope to return the pieces in. Usually, people spend around $250 (€181) on fake hairdos that inevitably become deteriorated or even boring and need to be changed, so by renting them you can avoid this kind of problems.

“Extensions are a great way to make a statement, without requiring permanent changes, but they are still costly. Spending around $250 to wear them for one evening is challenging for many budgets, so I thought a rental service would be a great option, but also allow someone to try more than one look during the course of a few months,” founder of Beverly Hills' Nelson J Salon, Nelson Chan, says according to Refinery29.

The $75 extension sets are made of 100% human hair and come in packs of 30 and although they may seem unhygienic, the truth is that they already came from someone else's scalp so why the grossed-out faces. The only difference with the rentals is that they may be worn once or twice before and they have to be returned in one week, but at least you save some money.
