People Can Fly, the development studio that has worked on Bulletstorm and on Gears of War: Judgment, has been renamed as Epic Games Poland in order to better integrate it with its owner.

A representative tells PixelEnemy that, "We’re a global company with talented people working toward one goal across the world. We think this helps better reflect that."

People Can Fly is hosted in Warsaw, Poland and is apparently involved in the creation of Fornite, the first video game that will showcase the power of the Unreal Engine 4.

Epic Games bought People Can Fly during August 2012 but was involved with the studio since 2007.

Adrian Chmielarz, Andrzej Poznanski and Michal Kosieradzki, its founders, then left the company and formed a new independent game developer.

Fortnite is expected on next gen consoles and the PC at some point in 2014.
