14 DAY TRIAL // Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem are expecting their second child and, one month after they confirmed the happy news for the media and fans from all over the world, the first photos of her baby bump have emerged online.
They’re not part of some magazine photoshoot though, in case you were wondering.
A pregnant Penelope is now on vacation in Barbados and the paparazzi have managed to track her down to get their money shots. And got them they did.
The Huffington Post notes that the latest issue of Hola magazine, a Spanish weekly, brings a photo of the actress in a two-piece swimsuit on the cover.
“According to the magazine, an expert estimates that the star can now be on her seventh month of pregnancy, so in less than two months she could be giving birth,” HuffPo writes.
However, there are more pictures available online: the Daily Mail, for instance, has a bunch. It too speculates that Penelope might be further along than initially believed.
“Though the bombshell actress confirmed her second pregnancy only in February, it seems her belly is several months along,” the Mail writes.
Penelope and Javier have a 2-year-old son as well. His name is Leo and, so far, he’s been rarely seen in public, mostly because both his famous parents believe he should not be exposed in the spotlight – at least, not until he’s old enough to decide if that’s what he wants for himself.
Both actors believe that, just because they’re actors, they should not be celebrities as well. Because of this, they rarely make headlines, managing to keep their lives as private as possible in the industry.
However, one thing is certain: if Penelope’s previous interviews are any indication, she must be thrilled by becoming a mother again.
“From the first second, you feel so much love. It is a revolutionary experience. That's the best way I can describe it. It transforms you completely, in a second. Nature is very wise and gives you nine months to prepare, but in that moment, when you see that face, you are transformed forever,” she said a while after she gave birth to Leo.
