We all know that PETA loves its shock tactics, which, fortunately for some, include having some of the hottest female stars out there pose in the buff to make a point.
That's not the case with the beautiful Spanish actress.
The just unveiled ad shows Penelope in black and white, looking over her bare shoulder, thus giving more weight to the tagline “Give fur the cold shoulder.”
“Penelope Cruz has appeared on every 'best-dressed' list in the world, and the one thing you'll never see her wearing is fur,” Yvonne Taylor of PETA says.
“One couldn't ask for a more fitting emblem of the modern, glamorous woman who knows that there's nothing more beautiful than a woman who has a look that kills without anyone having to die for it,” Taylor adds.
