14 DAY TRIAL // Yep, you've read it right, a pedophile hacker received a sentence of 110 years in prison after he was found guilty of hacking MySpace accounts and harassing underage girls. In fact, all the hacker wanted was pornographic content but he managed to cause an extremely high fear after he threatened the girls with all kinds of messages.
If you think this is enough to receive such a major sentence, you should know the investigators also found tapes dated in 1998 showing Ivory Dickerson "having sexual encounters" with underage girls, OrlandoSentinel.com reports. "Conway handed Dickerson the maximum sentence on three counts of manufacturing child pornography, two counts of unlawful computer intrusion and one count of possession of child pornography. He pleaded guilty earlier this year," the same source adds.
His attacks caused an impressive fear among the victims. After he managed to obtain access to the girls' computers, he installed software to obtain remote control. Then, he threatened the girls to obtain pornographic content with them. "Are you sure you want to drive to school tomorrow?" one of the messages sent to the girls read, according to WFTV.com.
Obviously, the victims were shocked that such a thing could happen from a popular social networking service like MySpace. "I had no idea who he was, where he lived, what he looked like, but he knew everything about me. He knew my family, my face and it just scared me a lot," a victim said in court, according to the source mentioned above. "It was hell not knowing if your daughter would return once she left the house," her father added.
According to the reports, Ivory Dickerson threatened girls from all over the country but most of them were located in Florida. However, it would seem that some victims are located outside the country.
