You can now view the content of the texts on your wrist

So far Pebble owners who have been syncing their smartwatch with their Android smartphone, haven’t been getting the whole WhatsApp experience.

Whenever you’d be getting a new text, you would receive a notification but you couldn’t read the message per se. You had to go back to your smartphone to do that, which made the whole system quite futile in the end, right?

I mean, you buy a smartwatch to be able to keep your hands of your smartphone for longer. Anyway, that’s all water under the bridge now, because Pebble’s own native app now allows you to view the full content of your WhatsApp messages from your wrist (as seen at The Next Web).

It appears the tighter WhatsApp integration was silently rolled out alongside a software update last week.

The news will certainly constitute the delight of many WhatsApp lovers who were forced to take their phone out of their pockets when feeling their wrists vibrate.

As a reminder, Android Wear owners also have the opportunity of tapping into the social goodness that is WhatApps. So regardless of the fact that you’re in the Android boat or the Pebble boat, you can be kept up to date with your WhatsApp messages.
