Pebble has released a new SDK and software update for fans of the Pebble smart watch, which brings dozens of fixes and enhancements, including some specific changes for those who pair the watch with their iOS devices.

As far as iOS users are concerned, the new Pebble software resolves power-saving issues causing “impaired battery,” while the pop-ups for “Allow Pebble to communicate…” will now occur much less frequently.

A crash that occurred when an email was sent over MAP on iOS with an empty subject is now resolved. A crash in the music app that occurred when tracks were changed quickly is fixed as well.

Finally, an edge case where Pebble would not properly connect to an iOS device is resolved. Visit the official Pebble forums for the full changelog.
