David Tavares announced at the end of January that the Pear OS wallpaper contest for the upcoming Pear OS 7 (Corella) Linux operating system is open for submissions.

So, it looks like the Pear OS developer wants you to submit quality photos a.k.a. desktop backgrounds for his upcoming Pear OS 7 distribution, codenamed Corella.

The rules are simple! Submitted photos should be at least 1920x1080 resolution in JPG format for photos and PNG format for bitmap files.

Users must agree to a Creative Commons ShareAlike 3.0 license at the time of submission, and attribution has to be declared if the submission is based on an existing design.

As usual, the contest takes place on Flickr. So, you can submit your photos for Pear OS 7 here. Good luck!
