As the police have made public that Peaches Geldof's death was believed to be connected to a heroin overdose and have announced that they are now looking for the person who supplied her the deadly drugs, it's been revealed that Peaches had made several trips to a rehab facility prior to her death.

These trips were made in secret and lasted for a few weeks, right up to the day she passed away, most “likely” from heroin abuse. The Sun claims that she was spotted at least six times at the rehab facility in Maidstone, Kent.

Also, it seems that her husband, Thomas Cohen, was unaware that she was visiting the center in order to collect prescriptions for methadone, a substance which is commonly used to treat heroin addicts overcome their problem.

A source from the clinic told the newspaper that “We were on first name terms but I called her ‘P’. I last saw her a couple of weeks ago. She was fine, but furtive.”

The source goes on to explain that “She used to wear a hoodie to disguise herself. The first time I saw her I thought I recognized her and we just chatted about a few things. I said, ‘I recognize you from somewhere’ and she told me her name was Peaches. That was when it clicked -- Peaches Geldof.”

After being recognized, she asked the source not to divulge her secret because she didn't want her husband to find out, “She said, ‘You'd better not say anything to anybody’. She didn't want her husband finding out.”

It seems Peaches was also worried that her dad would find out and that he “would go spare if he knew anything about it.”

From the sound of things, Peaches was leading a double life and was struggling very hard to keep her demons to herself and overcome her problems on her own. She feared her family wouldn't understand and she made a point out of taking on the problems by herself.

“She was most concerned about her husband. She said, ‘You won't believe it he's a really straight family man. I married a really straight really nice bloke. He won't understand, it would affect my kids,’” added the source.

There have been previous reports that linked Peaches to drugs, dating back to 2008, when it was believed that she actually stopped breathing after a drugs overdose and she had to be revived in order to recover.
