The famous musician Bob Geldof has just made an announcement today in which he revealed that his 25-year-old daughter Peaches, has died. His announcement was accompanied by a statement by the Kent Police in England in which they claimed that a 25-year-old woman was pronounced dead after paramedics were called in at an address near Wrotham.

TMZ reports that the model and actress was found dead in her home in Kent on Monday afternoon and that the details surrounding her death are still hazy at this point as investigators try to determine the cause of her demise.

At the moment, authorities are treating the case as a “non-suspicious but unexplained and sudden” death. Following the investigation, a coroner will perform an autopsy on the body and a cause of death will be determined.

Though it is unclear how Peaches Geldof passed, hours before her death, she posted an early photo of herself and her mother who died of a heroin overdose at the age of 41 back in 2000. The photo was captioned simply “me and my mum.”

Her famous father, Bob Geldof, has revealed the family in his shock following Peaches' sudden passing “Peaches has died. We are beyond pain. She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us. Writing ‘was’ destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child.”

He goes on to lament, “How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable? We loved her and will cherish her forever. How sad that sentence is. Tom and her sons Astala and Phaedra will always belong in our family, fractured so often, but never broken.”

The statement is signed by the entire family “Bob, Jeanne, Fifi, Pixie and Tiger Geldof.” Peaches' husband, S.C.U.M. singer Thomas Cohen, has also released a statement for the press. “My beloved wife Peaches was adored by myself and her two sons Astala and Phaedra and I shall bring them up with their mother in their hearts every day. We shall love her forever,” the statement said.

Cohen and Peaches were married since 2012, after Peaches had been romantically involved with Eli Roth but also previously married Max Drummey between 2008 and 2011.

Apart from her modeling and acting career, Peaches was also a TV host on the British ITV channel starting with 2011. She hosted her own show called “OMG! Totally Peaches,” in which she helped viewers find solutions to their problems aided by a panel of specialists.

Peaches is survived by her two children, Astala and Phaedra, her husband Thomas, her sister and her father.
