14 DAY TRIAL // The Linux community has started a very large forum thread in the Payday 2 Steam hub, asking for a native port of this game.
Payday 2 is a cooperative action game developed by Overkill Software. In case the name sounds unfamiliar, you should know that they are mostly made up from programmers and artists from the defunct Grin studio.
The developers from Overkill and its mother company, Starbreeze Studios, didn't give any indication that a Linux version might be in the works, but that didn't stop the Linux fan to ask for a port, even if it's fairly late and the game has already been launched.
Until now, more than a hundred people have expressed their interest in a Linux version, but it's hard to say if they're going to make any kind of impact.
