14 DAY TRIAL // Valve and Overkill Software might introduce a brand new stage of their traditional partnership, as masks from Payday 2 have been found in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive's latest update, Winter Offensive.
Valve and Overkill worked together when the original Payday: The Heist game had a special level based on Left 4 Dead 1's Mercy Hospital.
That partnership has continued recently, as Payday 2 received its Charlie Santa update with a new mission set in CS:GO's de_bank map.
Now, clever Reddit users have found mentions and models for Payday 2 masks in the latest Counter-Strike: Global Offensive update – the Winter Offensive.
It's unclear just how these masks might be used, as currently all players on a level are assigned the same basic character model depending on their faction (Counter-Terrorists and Terrorists).
Expect to hear something about this new partnership in the future.
