New features introduced by the Paypal Adaptive Payment API will allow web developers to integrate PayPal e-payment methods without forcing users in creating or using a PayPal account.

The feature called, Guest Payments, permits developers to quickly process credit card payments in the same secure format as before. The well-known “PayPal” buttons everyone sees on pages will not redirect users to a PayPal register or login screen anymore, but will simply collect the needed financial data and allow the user quick access to his product.

“Guest Payments allows developers to collect credit card payments without requiring their customers to open a PayPal account, eliminating the complications merchants, developers and startups face in accepting credit cards,” said Naveed Anwar, one of Paypal's senior developers.

Eliminating this step in the payment process has been a priority at PayPal, the company getting a lot of criticism from developers and users alike for its lack of flexibility in its e-payment process design.

The feature become a top priority at the company after MasterCard and Visa disclosed information about their intentions in getting on the Internet payments market. After the e-commerce Internet market has been on a rise from 10% to 15% (various sources) in previous years, it attracted the eye of many credit card companies themselves.

Visa has even launched a beta version of their future service in Australia called PayClick a day ahead of the PayPal announcement, securing collaborations with services like iTunes, Big Pond Games, Big Pond Music, Habbo, Kids Help Line and Flexischools. Presentation videos for the PayClick service can be viewed on their home page at this link.

A webinar (online seminar) is scheduled for July 13th detailing the new Guest Payments feature and its capabilities. You can register for it using this link.

That's great.
There were two many steps in Paypal payments.
