Previously known as “Card Case,” Square’s Android application has been completely overhauled and is now accepting hands-down payments without even touching the phone.

The application requires users to link their credit card and set up the application to automatically open the tab when the user enters a business that accepts this kind of payments.

According to Square, there are a least 70,000 merchants that accept this method of payment, which allows users to checkout just by saying their names.

To make things more secure, the name and photo will appear on the register, so cashiers will be able to confirm the person who completes the sale is the right one.

“Pay with Square” is now available as a free download in the Google Play and it should be compatible with all devices running Android 2.2 and up.
