Google AdWords is currently one of the most attractive advertising platforms on the Internet because it allows you to advertise directly on the search engine results page or into the ads delivered by AdSense on numerous user pages. At this time, the product is attracting even the Internet giants that are looking to promote their products using the technology provided by Google. The best example is represented by Microsoft, the well known developer of the Windows operating system that placed multiple ads on the Google search engine result page.

A few days ago, several users reported that Ask.com, a powerful search technology, is using the product designed by Google to advertise on the Internet. It seems like the search giant's technology returns the Ask.com link every time a user types the yahoo.com keyword in the search box.

Today, Google announces a new update for AdWords that concerns the advertising campaign, an improvement meant to increase the power of the publisher over their Google account. The changes are quite important because some publishers might want to pause or remove their ads for a certain period to increase the efficiency of other campaigns.

"Have you ever needed to pause certain ads and keywords when your inventory was low? Or have you ever wished you could temporarily stop serving image ads on certain sites during the weekdays? As of today, all AdWords advertisers can pause and resume keywords (for keyword-targeted campaigns), sites (for site-targeted campaigns), and ad creatives. This feature is functionally similar to the pause/resume feature on the Campaign Summary page - we've simply extended it to the keyword, sites and ad variations tabs," Judy, Inside AdWords crew, sustained in a blog post published on the official page of the company.
