While Robin Thicke has been talking all over the news that he wants estranged wife Paula Patton to come back to him, she has remained quiet up until today, leaving many people to speculate on the outcome of their marriage after they announced they were getting divorced by “mutual” agreement.

Now, Paula has decided to open up, although she chose to go off the beaten path and opt for a more subtle approach. Knowing that she has been under the keen eye of the media, Paula has taken to her Instagram as has posted a picture with a quizzical message that leaves even more up for interpretation.

Judging on the message in her photo, the 38-year-old actress is putting the fate of her relationship with Robin Thicke in the hands of fate. “If you love something let it go, if it comes back it’s yours, if it doesn't, it never was, and it's not meant to be,” says the message in her photo.

It's time to put on your thinking cap and try to guess at the hidden meaning in this age-old saying. Most will immediately say that this means Paula is now looking for a reconciliation with Robin, which might also be the thought running through his head the moment he saw the photo.

Now that she let Robin go and saw he was remorseful, she probably thinks he's suffered enough and will take him back. However, this goes against all her previous actions.

Robin has flown to Canada where she was filming last week and begged her not to file for divorce, but she went ahead anyway. Then the singer spoke to the press, saying he just wanted her back, that he was “lost without her.”

Then he dedicated a song to her in his latest concert, telling fans that “Lost Without U” was a song he wrote thinking of his wife. And yesterday, he also had a lot of costly floral arrangements sent to her house, all in an effort to make her understand that he was sorry and wanted her back.

Their 9-year-long marriage has resulted in the birth of a boy, but has also been plagued by rumors of infidelity from Robin, who sparked his wife's outrage with his raunchy performance at the VMAs last year with Miley, and later as some photos where he was holding on rather tightly to a fan's posterior, not to mention some other rumors about making out with fans in hotel rooms.

What's your opinion? Is Robin genuinely remorseful and should Paula take him back?
