14 DAY TRIAL // This must be the reason why Robin Thicke kept crooning in concerts about wanting Paula back, right after she decided to finally leave him after all the infidelity scandals. It seems the singer knew that Paula still had affection for him and he was playing all of his cards.
The “Baggage Claim” actress split up from her singer husband, famous for the song “Blurred Lines,” back in February, after eight solid years of marriage, and it was believed that they were headed for a divorce.
Thicke accepted the separation but fought it kicking and screaming, mostly on stage, where he knew that Paula would see and hear his declarations of love. Now, months after the split, Paula is coming forward with the shocking confession that she's not ruling out a reunion with Thicke.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, she was asked if she ever saw herself getting back together with Robin and she said “We've known each other since we were teenagers. All I can tell you is there's a deep love there - always was, and always will be.”
The couple that have been married for eight years and claim to be in love since they were teenagers, has a three-year-old son together, Julian, and both of them have been taking extra care to make their split as easy as possible on him.
Now that she's had time to reflect on the situation, Paula gushes about Robin, “He wasn't my first kiss but he was my first lots of other things.”
Insiders from her camp report that she is definitely having second thoughts about the divorce, but she's still not fully convinced that she should take Robin back as she feels the need to be further convinced he's going to be a good husband.
At the time of their split, it was rumored that Robin's infidelities were the cause of the divorce. It seems the straw that broke the camel's back was Robin's VMA performance with Miley Cyrus. The uninhibited Miley didn't shy away from twerking on Robin on stage and even grabbing his genitals, much to the delight of the fans.
Needless to say, Paula was less enthused, and when Robin was photographed grabbing girls' bottom in clubs after performances, she decided it was time to move on. Ever since then, Robin seemed very apologetic and willing to do whatever it takes to win her back.
Looks like it's working.
