Actor Paul Walker was killed last November in a one-car crash: at the time, he was still working on “Fast & Furious 7” and had at least 2 other projects lined up. Replacements for these have now been found, it has emerged.

AceShowbiz writes that Walker was supposed to appear in the romantic drama “The Best of Me” and the action movie “Agent 47” after he was done shooting for the latest installment in the “Fast & Furious” franchise.

When he died, producers scrambled to find other actors interested in the projects, and they have finally come to an understanding to have James Marsden of the original “X-Men” trilogy in the romantic film based on Nicholas Sparks’ novel, and Rupert Friend from “Homeland” in “Agent 47.”

“The Best of Me” is directed by Michael Hoffman, stars Michelle Monaghan, and will be out in 2014.

“Agent 47” is the second “Hitman” installment and will be directed by Aleksander Bach, but it doesn’t have a release date just yet. The franchise is based on the popular video game, with the first movie starring Timothy Olyphant as lead. It came out in 2007.
