PaulWalker, an amateur surfer and diver, smacked his head on a cave wall, according to World Entertainment News Network.

"We were out there diving and playing around in this cave," the actor said.
"Every time I would come up for a breath I had so much head room, but then the tide came up really fast and I came up to take a breath into what I thought was the same pocket and I hit the ceiling because the tide had changed", the Into the Blue star added.

Walker also quoted director John Stockwell as saying: "I like that. I want that for the movie. Get back in the water."

The actor was treated with a combination of salt water and Neosporin, that helped the wound heal 'pretty quick'.
