Pattinson, Stewart and Lautner Get Extensive Interview Coverage

Handsome Robert Pattinson and his equally beautiful co-star Kristen Stewart are the two big names of the upcoming issue of Interview magazine, which comes to bring fans both brief interviews and amazing photos. However, this is not all that that the mag has in store, as it also includes a couple of screencaps of Taylor Lautner from the “New Moon” trailer, along with the promise of an entire spread just with him.

Shot by Mark Segal, the photos are meant to show Robert and Kristen when they’re at their most casual, which only comes to make them more approachable to fans and, at the same time, more easy to relate to. Moreover, the accompanying interviews also reveal that, at the end of the day, both stars are just two kids who happened to stumble into this film, which, in turn, got blown out of proportions and snowballed into this cultural phenomenon that is “Twilight” now.

Robert Pattinson, for one, is completely taken aback from the impressive response the film has managed to get from fans, as well as by the way he has been elevated to the status of international icon and, some say, the “next Jude Law” of modern cinematography. “It’s funny,” Pattinson tells the mag about the transition from “Harry Potter” to “Twilight,” “because teenage girls would say, ‘Oh, my God, you’re Cedric!’ It switched in a week to ‘Oh, my God, it’s Edward!’ Allegiances change so freely in the teen-girl world.”

Kristen Stewart has had it easier, as she admits herself in the interview. Granted, it is being said, she does not get mobbed by crying teenage girls and does not have to be carried away by three bodyguards to protect her from bodily harm, but she is still incredibly famous. “My whole family is involved in the entertainment industry in some way. My brother’s a grip. My mom’s a scriptwriter. My dad’s a director. So it’s like, at heart I’m a below-the-line girl.” the actress explains for the magazine.

As noted above, the Interview special “New Moon” coverage also includes a couple of shots of Taylor Lautner, which are bound to get hearts racing across the world. As the mag also points out, Lautner’s amazing physical transformation is indeed admirable, as well as a genuine sight for sore eyes – so keep an eye on this space for when his solo Interview photo spread comes out.
