A new flash drive has been released, one that can achieve transfer speeds just shy of 100 MB/s over the SuperSpeed interface.

The new flash drive we are speaking of is, of course, none other than the Supersonic Mini from Patriot.

Equipped with a USB 3.0 port, it can transfer information at up to 80 MB/s.

That means that it won't take much to copy all the info on the 16 GB or 32 GB inside it, or to fill that capacity with films, music files, documents or whatever else.

For something that weighs only 1.5 grams, that is quite the technological prestige.

Patriot made sure the newcomer was compatible with not just Windows (Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows ME), but Mac as well (Mac OS 9, X or later) and Linus 2.4 or newer.

The price is of $19.99 for the 16 GB model (15.34-19.99 Euro) and $29.99 for the 32 GB drive (22.99-29.99 Euro).
